Apparently it wasn't serviced by a professional. You put in a new or used wide radiator? Did you replace thermostat?? If radiator is used, did you flush it out of contaminants? Was it pressure tested? There's not a lot of reasons why a cooling system fails. If this vehicle has a closed frontend, check your air dam under the front end, its job is to force air through the radiator.
Also check that your fan (s) are kicking in when they are supposed to. different vehicles have different trigger temps but I would say probably within 5 10 degrees of your thermostat rating. As a matter of fact, I think I would check the fan relay and the connector, maybe someone forgot to hook it back up.
But this was 2 years ago, probably blew up by now.
