      Disability allowance is not determined by age.  I know autistic and mentally retarded teenagers are eligible for disability insurance.

        You can check the Social Security Website (I am assuming you can collect SSI).  Then check the disability laws in your state.  You can let us know which state you are in so we can at least get a website address for you.  r/yvonne57
