very confused
where can i go to find help for my 14 year old with disabilities who was stopped from getting ssi because i got married
my son was drawing ssi and when i got married they stopped him from getting his check when his medical condition did not change when i got married

Try for S S D . It's more permanent. My g.friend is married and applied for S S D for their son several years ago, b/c he was somewhat mentally challenged. She had to get a lawyer and then it took a year . But, he finally got it . They got him on it, b/c they were worried about what would become of him after they die.. But, then, ironically , and tragically , the son died of Leukemia in April of 2013 .
