Don't hold your breath waiting for someone "to change". Whatever the problem was, it will likely continue or if you get back together, start again. Consider that before you even think about getting back together.

Do you mean that does he miss you enough to change? You want your ego stroked. You left for a reason, remember that……….

Oh, absolutely not.  YOU left HIM.  You must have put up with a whole lot of cr*p to finally pull the plug on this dude.  You honestly think he's going to look in the mirror and say, "GAH-LEE! I've sure been a doofus.  I'm going to change RIGHT NOW, Then I'm gonna track down my sweet Thelma and BEG her to take me back." 
You're done; cut your losses and move on.  

many couples---------when they first break up.........get back together agian after 6 mos or a year, b/c they find that the grass is not greener on the other side of the fence. And also, it's the old shoe syndrome.....they're used to each other . So, it's kinda hard to take up with someone else. Or their new relationship hasn't worked out.
