How to grow a peach tree from a pit?
we got peaches from a local farm stand...and i love peach trees theyre so cool looking, but how do you start one and grow it? im not really doing it for any big outcome, i just think it would be fun to try any tips?

well obviously, but is there a spacific way of doing it, like you dont just 'plant and water' an alvacado tree...

Don't let it dry out and remove as much of the pulp off of it as possible; Plant it about two inches below the surface and let nature do the rest. Mark the area, as you will not see any growth until next spring. Not until your seedlings emerge does it become important to water. I suggest planting many pits to increase your chances. The pits should come from perfectly ripe fruit. Best of luck.
Many fruits, (apples especially) will not produce the same fruit as the mother fruit. HOWEVER, peaches and all those in the prunus family are among the 'truest,' meaning your peaches grown from the pit will be pretty darn close to the mother fruit. Again, best of luck.
