      depends why its on. go to auto zone and they will run a diagnostic,  free and can tell you whats going on.

          I did and payed a price for it. At the time I had a 2000 Rav4. Engine light came on and I THOUGHT I knew what it was so I ignored it until I was READY to take it to the dealer.


          1,000 miles later I HAD to bring it in. My entire fuel injection system and sensors had to be replaced.


          Total cost? OVER $3,000.


          My suggestion is you don't ignore the Engine Light like some IDIOTS out there. :(
