    how to sharpen lawnmower blades, and oil lawnmower

    My mother, who just retired, needs to maintain her very old Sunbeam electric lawnmower, Model# RE-18TP. I need to sharpen the blades. Also, I'm sure it needs oil (looks like you have to remove part of the cover to get to the oi part. How can I sharpen the blades, and oil it. I don't even know what kind of oil to use.

      i could tell you how to do it, but it sounds to me like your better off just spending the money and having it done right!

        The blades have to be sharpened properly to maintain balance or the mower will vibrate badly.


        I have never heard of an electric mower needing oil.I would spend a coupla bucks & have it done professionally if I were you.
