    air condition vents in a room not been used closed is it ok

    If it's venting to a bedroom, this means the water from the A/C is leaking into the room too. That is not OK. Open the windows to vent the room. A/C exhaust is not toxic but it would be good to get airflow in the room anyway.

    If your question is whether or not a central air conditioning system with a vent into a room that's unused can have its vent shut, my answer would "Yes."  This sounds reasonable to me.
