Does it clunk when you put it in gear ????? Is a parked on flat ground problem ???? If you jack up the rear of the car and move the wheels back and forth left and right is there a lot of play ??? With hood open have some one shift the car and see if linkage is binding .Inspect the linkage all the way to transmission for binding or looseness. Sounds like a waste of time but thats what the mechanic is going to do . Your results from this will save 100 at the shop . Could be a bad transmission mount likage or a rear end problem . These tests will tell. Bill
