If they feel your job is too stressful or dangerous and may cause complications for your pregnancy, yes, they can lay you off. This can protect the company from a law suit.

Yes - but depending on where you are it may not be legal.

No its not legal, they cannot lay you off just because you are pregnant, but they might come up with different reason for laying off, in that case you just have to prove it.
