It's not a task bar, it's a tool bar.

Click "Start" and select "Control Panel" from the menu.

Click "Add or Remove Programs" or "Uninstall a Program." Wait for the list of programs installed on your computer to be populated.

Click the name of the tool bar you want to remove in the list of programs. Click "Remove" or "Uninstall/Change."

Click "Yes" to confirm that you want to remove the toolbar from your computer.

Wait for the toolbar to be removed and click "OK" when prompted.
