Norman Dewey Nicholson, 85, husband of the late Evelyn Reese Nicholson, passed away December 29, 2011 at his home.

Born in Cateechee, he was the son of the late Norman Dewey Nicholson and Ina Irene Howell Davis. He was a veteran of the US Marine Corps.

Norman retired from Ashmore Brothers and was a Master Mason. He was a member of Pickens View Wesleyan Church.

Surviving are his two sons, Ted (Linda) Nicholson and Timothy (Maria) Nicholson, all of Easley; his two daughters, Teresa (Mike, who passed away in 2008) Lairson, of Liberty and Rita (Mark) Jennings, of Easley; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be conducted Sunday, January 1, 2012 at 3:00pm at Hillcrest Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Road, Anderson, SC 29621.
