Incubation Time:
On average, Lovebirds incubate their eggs for about 23 days. This can vary by a couple of days in either direction. When attempting to calculate future hatch dates, always count forward from the day that you notice the hen begin to sit on the eggs. Sometimes they won't sit until all the eggs of a clutch have been laid, and they all need equal incubation time!

Sounds funny, Florida has nothing to do with it. A hen who is incubating eggs will sit almost non stop to get the job done, in FL, or any other state. She will get off to eat and drink only... Good moms! Good luck. You can pull them at about 7 to 10 days after hatching and feed them a baby bird formula (available at pet stores) and you take over for them, also a heated facility required. I made one from a covered cat litter box, with a light bulb installed in back for heat. You become the parent, so they bond and are more valued to sell as "hand-fed". You can use a bent spoon, with pliers to make it like her beak, or an eyedropper to feed them.
