A friend brought a little chick-a-dee that he found on his porch. What should I do?

It has all its feathers and I am trying to keep it warm. Also I do not know how or what to feed it

If it has all it's feathers, it's old enough to be on it's own. Put it back outside. It does not need to be kept warm. That's what it's feathers are for. He eats seed and he does not need you to feed him. He will feed himself at this point. Small seed like thistle or finch seed.

He just flew out of the basket, I kept him in. My friend is going to put him back where he found him. Thanks Colleen. It makes me feel so much better.
