As a general rule, it takes three to seven days before a new concrete driveway is ready to be driven on, depending on the mix of the concrete and the climate. Water makes concrete easier to work with but also increases cure time. Also, concrete cures faster in warmer weather.

you are right Vinny, it can take some time to 'cure' completely, but you can drive on it after approx 7 days, as long as it is not a 10 tonne truck. :)
Vinny, i am amazed at how long ago these postings are that keep popping up, i'm dissapointed i miss them when first posted, it is funny your comment of 2 years as some cement on how it is mixed can take what seems like for ever to completely cure. :)
