It really depends on exactly where you intend on setting up a camp. If it is on private land or not makes no difference if there is a fire ban. I suggest that you camp at a site where campfires are offered... find them here > http://www.fs.usda.gov/Internet/FSE_DOCUMENTS/stelprdb5417559.pdf
