    when taking inslin twice a day how far apart in hours should the next injection be

    It depends on your situation. Please contact your doctor or pharmacist.

    Insulin is adjusted per your own eating habits. By your statement, I would assume you eat only twice a day. Talk with your endocrinologist……..

    You really should be asking your Dr. this. But, just off hand, when I was an LPN, we gave insulin, on the average, before the person ate breakfast and before they ate dinner. However, some people get insulin 4 X  per day !  And some people get it before they go to bed.
