      The age requirement varies depending on where you live. Call a reputable tattoo parlor and ask them.

        My step grandson got one when he was only 15. It was fairly large, and it was on his calf. His mom didn't care. Maybe she went with him to get it. They live in Ohio

          There were children in my second grade elementary school who had tattoos, in 1951. Serial numbers from German concentration camps.

            Fort Worth, Texas...They were there for a month or so and moved to NYC to the some of their family there. I knew many who had been in concentration camps during WW2.
            One boy was tattooed with a Cartoon car near his wrist. The teacher was upset about the tats.
