Light the tip with a match, be careful not to melt the plastic. Write and write until the ink flows…..

1. run it under hot water.

2. If that doesn't work, hold the tip only over a match flame.

I collect and reuse ink pens and lots of other things that most folk consider to be trash. There are the vast number of collectors pens that go back to feathered quill pens and advancing foward to include presentation pens and the first ball point pens and so forth. The present day cheep-o ball points do find their way into collectables but there are re-applications for the recyclable pen. Among the apps are, refill the cartridge with artist paint. I use a hipodermic to fill or partly fill a pen. I'm sure there are more apps than I have tried and used. I love to do art but my time is seasonal dependent so I remain busy a lot.
