    How far away is the earth in relation to the moon?

    Dunno maybe ask the cow that jumped over the moon.....

    the distance is 384,403Km or 238,857 miles.this is not a fixed distance.The orbital path of both bodies are egg shaped,not perfectly round hence the fluctuations.also gravity can affect this also both rotate on axes and theese fluctuate
