NO!!  I saw a dog a few months ago that I was convinced that it was possessed. It's owner had its 'barker' removed so when it barked, it made a horrendous hissing sound, it was evil, it had red eyes, (ruptured blood vessels) obviously from attempting to bark and nothing comes out but a choking hissing sound, it growled but sounded like a rumble from within, showed its teeth, they were covered in blood from its gums bleeding, it was a small black mutt..  This dog was evil!! My wife and i both saw it, it was in a cage.  The owners said she really loved the dog and when nobody was there, her and the dog, she lets it out and it sits in her lap like a cat.  Still she said that she had to remove its barker because it never quit barking.. She is a piano teacher so she has many students coming and going, i am sure this drove the dog crazy too because every time a student would come, she would put it in the cage, and it would bark and growl.. she said she had no choice..

This dog was pissed!!  I guess i would be too if i were the dog..  I don't think its going to heaven though unless it checks in its attitude and gets rid of those fiery red devil eyes..  

Yep and cats too.....
