I would do it systematically. For example, pull out 10% every quarter and transfer it into your savings. Don't do it because you're scared of the market. Plan to ease out slowly. Never panic.
You feel a lot older when the market is down. Had the market gone up, you'd not be concerned about your age at all. right?
