    Are we doomed to repeat the 1930s?

    The latest economy events sound too familiar.

    You are so right, Sandra.  It could be worse if we don't act properly.  In the 30's we just spent all our money and went broke.  Today we may spend or our money and continue to owe like crazy.  On top of that, our dollar could slide another 50% in value from here.  Make sure to own something outside of this country as a hedge.  There are a few countries that will be at parity with ours in a short period of time. 


    The only company that truly represents America well is Apple Computer.


     

    This is too scary.


    Should we all move out of the country? Where? Any suggestions?

    Things will get even scarier if one of the major banks fails or one of the bigger municipalities goes into default. Just be careful. Don't trust what they tell you.
