I remember a lot of 2 cycle engines having measuring cups 'attached' to the gas cap. Pull it out, turn it upside down pour in the oil to the line and throw it in the tank with the fuel. Of course automation took the job of injecting the correct amount. Guys I knew with 2 cycle motorbikes like to over do it so they would blow blue smoke all over town as they drove by. I never did because my motorcycles were all 4 cycle.
