The helicopters hovered over enemy ground and let down a rope with a litter , which is a bed- like rack on the end of it.Then the soldiers would load it up with a body or a wounded man.. Then, they've give the signal for the helicopter pilot to pull it up . Actually, the men on board the helicopter would pull it up by pullies, or by electricity
