      This really works.


      Place a slice of banana in a bowl.  Cover the bowl with film wrap (Saran or otherwise).


      Poke very small holes in the film wrap with a tooth pick.


      Place bowl on counter and plan the fruit flies funerals.


      Two to three bowl roatations is usually enough... make sure there is no fruit or veggie produce out in the open until the weather becomes cold again.

          Don't feed them. Get rid of all the fruit you have out and cover your trash well. Starve the suckers.....
