Well, you may have planted the hops on your American farm and the roses on your English farm. Click the link at the top right of your play screen and travel back to the other farm to see if your hops are there. You may have simply selected the wrong crop thinking that you planted hops and actually planted roses. It always sucks when you have to plow under withered crops, I have had to so many times!
