    why don't gas prices go down?

    $4.15 / gallon in Hawaii.  Thank you, Unocal.

    Although oil is down gas prices won't come down as fast as it went up.

    Prices take some time to drop because the oil companies need to deplete their expensive inventories before they can adjust them to the lower open market prices.


    Likewise, when the per barrel world price go up, they...uh...well,they...hmmm...

    because the people who have it hate us,we refuse to drill for it,our dollar is nearly worthless

    Dwayne,   We've got loads of it in Canada and...we like you. Unfortunately, your tree-huggers consider our oil sands too environmentally "dirty", so they prefer the "cleaner" light crude from friendly democratic vendors such as Venezuela, Saudi Arabia and Nigeria.
