    How do I find Amish farms in my area?

    Drive around and look for the farms with no electricity lines running from the street to the house and no gas powered farm equipment on the property. You can not miss an Amish buggy, they will be on the property or near the barn. Properties with windmills and no gas powered farm equipment belong to the Mennonites. They are allowed electricity as long as they produce it themselves. The windmills generate just enough for their most basic needs. A single light here and there or maybe run the washing machine.

    If you are in Pennsylvania go to Lancaster. There are plenty over there.
