Fish-O and I were talking the other day about her migraines. Fish-O said her migraines don't get any better after the sun goes down. When Fish-O has migraines  they must run their course regardless of the time of day or night.

Ya Both maycatsmom and country have very good points. I've never noticed anything different when the sun goes down, Mine usually take awhile to get going, anywhere from a few hrs to several hrs. Once they get going its total hell... A blanket over the windows to block ALL the light and no noise!! They usually start at the back of the neck and slowly work there way around to the front. You will cry. you will wish you were dead... The last one lasted for 16 hrs and I puked 3 times. When its over it still takes about a day to recover. I've never found a way to stop them, had pills from the doctor but they did nothing . Just thank god there few and far between now, got em a lot when I was in grade school through early 20's

I'm sorry to hear this. I had one migraine headache when I was 16 and I still remember it well to this day because the pain was horrific.

Before I went thru menopause, I had a migraine almost every month, right before my period......for  1 to 3 days !   No, I never felt any better when the sun went down. But, bright light is painful to a migraine sufferer, and I think that's why Jenn asked the question.
