    what would cause a dry, deep, hard cough associated with slight lung pain and chest pain as well as headache?

      I think if you live in a cold climate and have heat running often, this maybe could cause the dry cough, and in turn cause the slight lung and chest pain and even the headache. I would try drinking lots of water to hydrate yourself, and also if this is an ongoing thing, don't take any chances and get to your dr. to have this checked out. Best wishes..
