Open the control panel and open up programs & features windows 7 or add and remove Programs XP.
Look for the search engines that are installed that you do not want and delete. make sure that you reboot after deleting every search engine that you do not want. Do not delete Internet Explorer that is part of the operating system. Also do not forget your books marks or favorites that you might have saved. If so you may want to back them up prior to deleting them.
Unless you know what you are doing do not try and delete Internet Explorer.
