Casual dress is just that "casual". It all depends on how you dress yourself up- nice jeans are so in this season from backyard bbq's to late night dinners! Casual means "non stuffy" . If you love dresses and skirts by all means wear them but if you are not---nice jeans, slacks and a nice top are perfect.
I always feel when and invite states casual (for men) it means NO TIES!!
