Well, if you live near an ocean, lake or river you can.
I would start by finding a local tackle shop near you and ask them for fishing tips and the the gear you would need to start your fishing experience.
Living close to the Atlantic Ocean most of my life, I spend a good amount of my time fishing the surf. Fresh water fishing is also very relaxing and fun but requires a boat in most cases.
Once you catch your first fish you'll be HOOKED forever. Its one of life's great pleasures.
