    Basically you can tune in to freeview with just an aerial but in order to watch and tune in to a freesat box you need a satellite dish to get the signal from hence the name freesat but not only will you pick up the freeview channels you can normally receive other channels freeveiw does not pick up and some of the freesat boxes allow you to tune into several satellites gaining even more channels aldi had a set up recently where you could tune into approx 4 satellites which includes some foreign stations if you know what I mean the set up was about £50.00 but you can only watch in standard definition and one satellite at a time.
