sounds like you might have a thermostat problem, next time it heats up feel the bottom hose and then the top if one is cold and the other hot, that would be it, otherwise you could be low on coolant or maybe a loose fan belt , a lose belt on the water pump would cause problems as well.maybe your water pump is just getting tired as well!
