If you see a Silverfish there is most likely a nest of them near by.
They are fast and should be killed if you can get them.
Spray Ant and Roach Killer killer along the entrances to your house.
Lower door jams, along the bottoms of sliding doors and windows and along the baseboard of the room your seeing the Silver Fish concentration.
Don't panic, they are not like roaches when it comes to reproducing, but you do want to tackle the problem because they are so damn CREEPY.
