      I think it is only in the case of emergencies not for chatting. Cell phones dont get a signal on the ocean... but that is why a cruise is so fabolous!

        EVEN IF YOUR CELL PHONE CAN'T GET A CONNECTION, YOU'LL STILL BE ABLE TO PLACE A CALL THROUGH THE SHIPS PHONE SYSTEM VIA SATELLITE FEED.
