Start with a Chilton manual for the year make and model you have . Read everything twice and then once more .Figure out the tools required and have them all on hand . get some clothes you no longer care about. prepare a spot to do the work ,get some hand cleaner and shop towels . Some times its best to have it done ,cars are no longer made for the shade tree mechanic.
