During the Anthrax attacks of 2001 my wife was working for the Postal Service Compensation office in Jersey City NJ. She was assigned to help PO workers who were concerned if they were exposed to the Anthrax bacteria in the TRENTON facility affected.
Even tho she wasn't inside the plant, she was give CIPRO to cover her contacts with the people who MAY or WERE infected by the bacteria.

I am not aware of any of the victims experiencing heart problems from their Anthrax exposure but I do know that a few people had died from those tainted letters.
