    if a human has chronic kidney failure, will eating grapes add to their chronic kidney failure ?

         No; although grapes (and raisins) can cause kidney failure in dogs, they are not harmful to humans' kidneys.  Animals have toxic reactions to some foods like onions and chocolate, as well as household plants, because their metabolisms are different than ours.  For a good guideline of what to eat if you have chronic kidney failure, please refer to this website: http://www.livestrong.com/article/293945-list-of-foods-to-eat-with-kidney-failure/
