Most Banks require you keep a designated amount of money in your checking account so your not charged a fee to write checks.
Transferring money from one account to another WILL NOT cost you any additional charge unless you dip below that designated amount.
It would also help to make sure you have no outstanding checks still out there that haven't been cashed yet before you transfer your "millions". ;)
