    can a person still drink inmoderation wih a fatty liver

    It is best not to.  Losing weight, lowering cholesterol and avoid fatty food will help reduce the fat on the liver.  You cannot live without a functioning liver.  You can live with out booze which is damaging to the liver.  Drinking in "moderation" can mean many things.  What is moderate to one person may be excessive to another.  Alcoholic beverages add calories to your diet without any benefit.


     

    I think if there is anything wrong with your liver AT ALL you should leave alcohol well alone Or run the risk of shortening your life!
