      If you bought it, have a deed for it, you will not use it if you don't use it. Although the government has the right to take it if they decide to put a highway through it (it's called eminent domain), but they do have to pay you for it.

        I cant be understanding this question.... If you own it, it is yours. You dont ever have to even look at it... Or are you talking about erosion???
