    what is the history of paid annual leave in Australia?

    At the moment I think it's 4 weeks per year with 17.5% loading.


    When I started work in 1961 it was 2 weeks,no loading & went to 3 weeks by about 1964

    hi tommy thanks for reply. but need to find out how the campaign started. I know paid annual leave first introduced in Aus in 1936, (printers union) - but need more info on how it really got started. cheers, pen
