Diamond is carbon based, created by organic matter under pressure for millions of years,, thus turning into the hardest material known to man, the only think that will cut diamond is a diamond.. and chicks love it..

Quarts is 'rock crystal' just a rock that is pretty but too abundant to have much worth.

A diamond is a girl's best friend--- A dog is man's best friend.. Go figure..
