    I live 60 miles inland (west) of Boston, if a hurricane struck Boston how would I be affected?

    Can only guess. If it was not a large hurricane and if it stayed in Boston, probably not. You might get some outer winds from it but not very damaging. Years ago we had a hurricane come through, east to west. My town got some winds but nothing major. All towns west of me were hit bad. The airport only 20 miles away from me was torn up. I felt a breeze from it all.
