23/542 does not look like an item number. It looks like a series number. Whatever the collectible is, which you did not share with us is number 23 of 542 made. We don't know a lot about collectibles except for what we can search out on the internet. Try a collectibles dealer. White pages or Google. someone will need to see it to help you.
