      A business cannot make maximum profit by one-time customers. To retain a client is to have repeat sales over the life of the product or service. This is why it is so important.: retention increases the market share of the product or service over their competition.

        i am assuming that what you mean is retaining customers in business. Of course it is extremely important. A business is constantly struggling to maintaining their existing customers as well as trying to obtain new business everyday.
