    I asked a question and your answer was go to the bank and talk to the Manager I thought I was connected to my Bank I have First Calif. Federal Credit Union, Was it correct to charge me with insufficient funds if I deposit the same day?

    at my bank security national, if you deposit money into your acct before your overdrawn checks are posted there is no fees.

    If you have been their valued customer, talk to them and they may revert the fee to you.

    You are now at a question and answer forum not at a banking site.  This is based solely on personal experience.  At some banks, the deposit has to be done by 3:00 to be counted for that same day deposit.  Some banks debit before they credit your account so if they process a check, then process your deposit, your check will bounce.  It depends on your bank or credit union.  I personally think they should credit your account then take out the debits but I don't run the banks!!

    You can only talk to your bank about this. If the check cleared before the deposit did then yes, that can cause insufficient funds charge. Like I said, if your bank is good, they will give you back the fee they changed you for the overdraft.
